MARCH FUNDRAISING EVENT

The Fund Raising Event to raise money for the Sorrel Machine for the green, took place on Thursday 9th March at the Ainsdale Club. Unfortunately due to the inclement weather, holidays and illness, the event did not attract as many visitors as previous years, hence the amount raised was lower. However given the bad weather situation we still raised the grand sum of £407.60. I would sincerely like to thank my fellow organisers, all the ladies and gentlemen who helped on the day, and everyone who donated items. You all know who you are THANK YOU AGAIN. Items that were not sold will go towards raffle prizes for the forthcoming quiz night on Friday 24th March and the Ladies Spring Pairs Competition on Thursday 13th April, plus any other event that may need a raffle prize throughout the season.
