Please note that the green will be closed to all members from Monday 5th October when the outside contractors will begin their winter maintenance works.

The current Covid-19 restrictions regarding the use of the green will remain in place until Sunday 4th for the last bookings of the season.


Due to continued Govt. restrictions the AGM will not be convened this year however, the committee will be meeting prior to the normally appointed date to formulate basic details for 2021.

If any member wishes to raise any issues which they would normally want discussed at the AGM please let me know and the matter will be added to the committee agenda for that meeting.

A full end of year report will be sent to all members following the meeting to include Officers’ reports and any proposals agreed by committee for implementation next year.

The current Vice-Chair, Trevor Dyson has agreed to take over the Chair for next season and would be pleased to hear from any member who would be willing to support him and serve on the committee next year.

In particular the committee will be looking to appoint a new Vice-Chair, lady or gent, to replace Trevor.

This is an ideal opportunity to become familiar with the day to day management of the bowling club and bring some new ideas and opinions to the management team.

Please let me have any proposals or suggestions in writing before the end of October in order that they can be incorporated into the next Committee meeting agenda.
