GREEN OPENING

We have cut the green at 10mm this afternoon. The green is in very good condition. However due to the record winter rainfall the green is still very soft in places especially the crown. Hopefully we will have a dry spell now. We are aiming to open the green on Saturday March 23rd weather permitting.
The green will be sorrelled on Wednesday with a reduced cut to 8mm next Monday. The season is getting closer.
