AERATION OF GREEN

The green has been aerated this morning. After the very dry spring this was essential work to make sure the green gets air and water into it in the weeks ahead. The spring weather gave us the chance to have a fast green so we exploited the opportunity as it will not happen often. The price for the fast green was an increasingly compacted base which required heavy aeration today to ensure we have a healthy green this season and next.
