Ged Walmsley 1952-2026

I have just been told that Ged Walmsley has died.
Ged was known to many as our Treasurer for many years and was instrumental in putting the club into the sound financial position we enjoy today.
He was Captain of the Ormskirk A team for a number of years and was liked and respected by all that knew him, and were probably beaten by him as he was a consummate bowler.
He will be very much missed by his wife Tina, his family, and all of us at Ainsdale Bowling Club.
Further details of the funeral will be circulated when known.
