NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
All subscribing members are invited to attend the AGM, which will be held
at 7.30pm on Sunday 17th November 2024 in the Main Club Lounge.
The 2024 Club Management Team is as follows:

With the exception of the President and the Chair, all other posts are available for re-election
annually and propositions are invited and warmly welcomed from any member who would like to
be considered for election. In particular, this year, we will need to appoint a new Vice Chair and
at least one new committee member.
Committee membership is not an arduous task. There are normally only 4 or 5 meetings held
throughout the year, each lasting an hour or so but they are an essential feature in ensuring the
smooth running of the Bowling Club.
Anyone who can offer time or experience of any sort but are uncertain how to go about it, just
speak to any of the existing committee members who will be pleased to discuss it with you.
Social events are an important feature of our bowling season and all members are requested to
consider offering to organise, or assist in organising, any of the various events held throughout
the year or even to suggest introducing a new event to be incorporated into the 2025 Calendar.
NOMINATIONS & PROPOSALS
All nominations for Committee membership and propositions for any item or topic to be put to
the meeting must be proposed and seconded and received by the Secretary in writing (or by
email) no later than Monday 4th November.
