ROUND ROBIN EVENTS 2025

The club is happy to announce that a group of members is organising a regular ‘Round Robin’ event on weekends until the end of the season, similar to those run at Victoria Park BC and Scarisbrick BC.
All members are welcome to participate, whether established team-players or not; it will be an enjoyable social occasion as well as an opportunity to bowl at the weekend in an organised event.

The format will consist of four jacks on the green and four players per jack.

Each foursome will play as pairs over three 25 minute sessions with three changes of playing partner within that foursome over the afternoon.  There will be a refreshment break after the first two sessions to give everybody a chance to socialise and catch up. The highest scorer in each group of four will win an esteemed prize of a choccie bicky and bragging rights for the week until the following weekend.

Cost of entry is £1 and it will be on a first-come first-served basis upto 16 players maximum on the green.

The draw for the random foursomes will be made at 130pm prompt and arrival before then is essential to ensure participation.

It is expected that the green will be in use until around 4pm.

The website calendar, the Facebook page, and the paper clubhouse diary hold all the dates, and there will be a list on the doors, and within, our clubhouse.

Sessions are planned for the following dates, so fill your diaries now.  Please remember it is first-come first-served and the draw is at 130pm prompt.
