MINUTES 12 OCTOBER 2025

ABC COMMITTEE MEETING Thursday 12th October 2025.

Present: Karen Dyson (Chair), Trevor Dyson, Gary Baker, Simon Biddolph, Vera McGee

and Len Adams. Apologies: Lynn Roberti, Haydn Preece, Ed Tennant.

MINUTES The minutes of 12th Sept 2025 were approved and signed by the Chair.

MATTERS ARISING None.

GREEN MANAGER’S REPORT (HP)

Due to HP’s absence no report was available. Extensive worm casts were evident over large parts of the green due to recent rainfall. TD reported Andrew Church due to commence winter maintenance work now that green is closed.

MAIN CLUB REPORT (KD)

Nothing to report.

TREASURERS REPORT (TD)

All outstanding invoices now settled. Winter contract works and Mike Bond’s work still to be paid and included in year-end accounts. Expected Y/E balance c £7.5k.

MEMBERSHIP Nothing to report.

GENERAL BUSINESS

·      Longton event reported successful with a small contribution being made to club funds.

·      GB reported his coaching accreditation and insurance cover.

·      28 day notice of AGM to be issued by 19th October. Proposals to be invited for vacancies in committee membership.

·      Proposed changes to Constitution discussed and approved at previous meeting to be included in AGM notice.

·      Annual dinner at Dolce Vita fully subscribed and arrangements now complete.
