6.        GREEN MANAGER’S REPORT: (HP)

·      Green in very good condition for later winter. We are on target for green opening March 21st. We have had some bird damage and looking at more deterrents! Top end area especially.
Lawn sand and feed going on in a couple of weeks. Currently we are experiencing a very wet spell.
The Ransome Mower has arrived! Andrew Church gave me a quick demo. It has a very quiet/ smooth engine and can be adjusted high and down to 3.5mm. It gives us cover for the summer and a winter mower which copes a lot better with worm casts than the Dennis. It also fits into the engine room regarding storage. It also means we can mow and aerate at same time. Or double cut for competitions.  Trevor to be consulted about possible purchase.
The Dennis cutter cartridge has gone in for servicing ready for the season.
Thank you to our Gardening Team for swishing when they are at the green.
Mike Bond will be putting his price per cut up which is totally understandable and we will still be getting great value.
