2024 GREEN OPENING.

The Green will be opened to all members from 1pm on Saturday 23rd March.
However, beautiful bowling greens do not just happen, they are the result of
a lot of hard work by a lot of people.
Apart from the professional contractors who do the heavy machine works and
carry out the various essential treatment processes over the closed season,
much cleaning and general maintenance work is still required by numerous
volunteers not only at the start of the season but throughout the year.
The preparation for the new season means bringing the clubhouse out of
mothballs with a proper spring clean, cleaning the toilets, tidying the
grounds and generally doing whatever is necessary to provide the club with
the superb bowling facility we all like to enjoy.
If there are members with any particular skill or ability which could be
useful and who are willing to offer their services in any shape or form,
please contact Karen Dyson our Committee Chair or any other committee
member. There are always jobs which need to be done, after all this is your
club and as the saying goes, every little helps.
