Champion of Champions

What a fantastic day! So many accolades have been received on how well Ainsdale Bowling club presented themselves, in hosting this event.
The green was in top condition, the catering was superb. A massive thank you to everyone involved. Well done Ainsdale 👏👏👏 you did yourselves proud.

A great team effort from everyone. Before the day and on the day. We had the honour of hosting Southport’s Champion of Champions thanks to Gary Burgess. We all show cased Ainsdale Bowling Club to its best. The barbecue, the bar, the fantastic and numerous quality raffle prizes plus our fantastic raffle ticket sellers. A big thanks to behind the scenes unsung hero Mike Bond and our green advisors Andrew Church ( Lancashire Turf). The quality of the competition all day was so high. The atmosphere was so positive with very generous purchasing of raffle tickets and our variety of food/ drinks. What a great day blessed by perfect weather.

Trust everyone has recovered from our most enjoyable day yesterday hosting the Champions of Champions competition
I have done the final count and we raised the tremendous amount of £668.50 for the Club, thanks to all,a great Club effort.
Thanks also needs to go to Matty who did a tremendous job on the bar which everyone appreciated.
