We’ve been trying to get to mow the green for about six weeks but it’s either been too wet or frosty. This morning Mike Bond mowed the green for the last time in 2023 and it’s looking great. We need a few dry days so we can aerate then green helping air and water get into the green.

Our green was mowed this morning Friday 10th November before receiving treatments to strengthen the grass and protect against disease over the winter. Ainsdale Bowling Club held their annual Presentation Evening at the Dolce Vita, Ainsdale on the evening of Tuesday 17th October. Eighty People attended and a great night was had by all. Thanks go to the marvellous, staff, food and service provided by the restaurant.

The Aughton A Team were presented on Wednesday 18th October at the Aughton Institute with a plague for winning the Division 3 Mini Cup.
The Team were also acknowledged for coming 2nd in Division 3 and will be promoted to Division 2 next year.
